Has anyone modified thier rearend to make it posy tract or even limited slip.
My truck is terrible in 2wd drive and only one tire will spin when stuck in wet grass. I would like to modify it with locker's or something else other than changing the entire rear end. Any sugestions?
My factory LSD works great, I spin both tires, and 3 tires in 4x4.
Just in case, I keep mine inside the garage when it snows, then do all my work from home. Mine does alright in the snow, I was carrying around around 700 lbs of 12" block all the way in the back. my problem is I have a 20% grade to get up to the street. the grade is smooth concrete, with mold on it, in the woods, on the north side of the hill.
Why couldn't they leave well enough alone and keep the Dana like I had in my '99 - good bite with both rear tires on any surface. No playing with brakes, etc.
