Is there a exhaust size closer to stock with very good or mandrel bends?

After seeing pics of 4" systems installed it is to tight of a fit (and $) for no more than I am turned up. I would like to find a vendor that makes a stock sized system where all the bends aren't crushed around the transfer case.

Tried the local Carquest and theirs was not much better than what is on the truck if any.

I know BD USED to make a 3. 5" for our trucks, along with a few others. I think these trucks got old enough (and the ones that were going to get exhaust got it early on) that they may have quit makng them. All the big names had 3. 5" a few years back. There are a few that have stepped up to 4, but you say that is too close to the t-case for your comofort.

You COULD buy the 3. 5" sections and weld them together, similar to how I did my 2 4" systems, though I have 2wd. It shoul drequire a few more 22, 30, or 45 angles to make it around the t-case.

I have a Janetty 4 inch system. It comes with the 3 inch downpipe, then 4 inch from there. There is a muffler, or you can use the straight pipe included instead of the muffler.

I chose to use the muffler.

Made a pretty big improvement in performance from the stock system.

Thanks for the link. This may be the way I go for now, alot cheaper than the true 4" systems out there as well.

Just that I think with the use of my truck on rougher roads and such I will have rubbing troubles all the time with a 4"? Maybe not? If I were to goto a 4" system I need to get it before I pull the bed to make my gooseneck hitch. It will also have to be made to clear the big tube.

Just looking to lower EGTs when towing a tad. Any links to threads with good detailed pics of the 4" systems installed? Searching turns up tons of results to weed through.

Jannety system does not include a downpipe like in the pic (I could tell the pic was for a 94+ truck anyway)

Without Muffler it is $210 + SH.

The system was complete when I bought mine a few years ago.

Since he is local to me, I called and told him what I wanted since at the time he didn't advertise a 4 inch for the first gen. He put a syatem together for me and it was competetive at the time.

If your still looking for a downpipe, click on the link, they sell them seperately. You should be able to combine this with a Jannetty 3" system.

To my knowledge very few companys make an exhaust system for our old first gens, The Expandit Co. is main supplier most shops carry. Take note of the system picture, you will see it everywhere, and usually the prices are very close if not the same.
