Finally got to take the truck for a drive in mountains today. Left Denver heading west to Frisco, then south over hoosier pass. This thing is awesome! But I'm bit concerned about the EGT's running to high, hit 1250 a couple of times pulling some of the grades, but they would come back down if I dropped a gear. Pretty good feeling being able to pass BMW's and the like with just a little flick of the trottle. :-laf

Yes i can get some strange looks too:confused: from the yuppie/prettyboy crowd when i pass them----love the second look from them after i go by in my truck and they realize that i have a trailer as well hooked to the back. :-laf :-laf :-laf

Try that towing an RV - and be even MORE impressed! :-laf

I did that last summer with the family, towing our 31' Airstream up Wolf Creek Pass, in CO. EGTs never got over 1200 with the '05.

I live in Colorado and go over I70 often. It's a ball rolling by some Yupster with a Greenpeace/Al Gore sticker and skis on top climbing up to the tunnel. You can see the look of "What the heck" when they are out in the fast lane passing all the ricers, and you go by them easily on the right. Then they decide to get out of the left lanes and realize they have to wait on your trailer til they can pull over!!. The only thing that slows these trucks down are the curves.
