Chuck, I have a set of those on order. I also ordered a wire harness with a relay to take the load off the switch, and upgraded the bulbs. How is the construction of these lights, and what does the angel eye do? Is this set easily adjustable?
Thanks,
Tim
... Not sure what the 'angel eye' is but the projector lense type is low beam,... Chuck
Chuck, the Angel Eye, or Demon Eye (depending on who you talk to) is a BMW term, referring to the coiled "halo" of light surrounding the actual light itself.
Thanks for the tips!! I hope I bought the correct wire harness from Sport Truck Direct. They did not have the harness listed on their site, but the guy I spoke to on the phone said they have what I need. He said it is a single harness with a relay made by Matrix. Chuck, do you remember which wire harness you are using, and where you bought it?

Here is the site I used to get my wiring harness.

Here is the link for the product I used and slightly modified to fit my needs. Quality product, one for each side and I just bought a connector for the H1 bulbs from a local auto parts store (Kragens here in Reno). This harness is made for the sport conversion, you might call them and they could provide you with the proper connector for the H1 bulb. I was very impressed with the quality of their product.

Hope this helps. Chuck
Also to add to this is the Halos are for city driving in Europe you don't use your headlights just the halos something about light pollution
Thanks Chuck... ... ..... One more question for ya if you don't mind. Why is it necessary to use two harnesses?
I don't know where you got that, but it is not universally true.
I spent 2-1/2 years in Greece and 6 years in Germany and there was no such restriction in either country.
I had heard that some cities in France (Paris) were that way, but I think I also heard that had changed. France also used to require yellow headlights, years ago.

Heres the basic idea. i dont know if they actually throw enough light to actually see at night. may just be a cosmetic thing...
