Help with diesel emission information

Diesel in Albuquerque at the Flying J is still at $2. 71. Gasoline is over $3. 25. Why is diesel staying the same and gasoline keeps going up?

No kidding, I moved the car seats from the wife's mini van and put them in my truck. Now we drive the truck more. Oo. Come On Durango CTD.

Finally, people have stopped calling me an idiot for owning a diesel because the price is higher than gasoline.

... of course, they still call me an idiot, but for entirely different reasons.

I can tell you why. My wife's 317,000 mile injection pump let go and now she will have to drive the gas burner untill I get the pump off/back on again.

Hate to laugh at my friends, but I have one who purchased a new Tundra in March because he figured the gas motor would be cheaper to drive than the diesel. At least he got rid of a powerstroke to get the Toyota. I did the math repeatedly for him, and couldn't figure how he could get the numbers to add up, as he almost always has a trailer in tow. I have not asked him how happy he is to get 9. 5 mpg with the gasser compared to the 13 he'd get with the Ford. Told him to buy a Cummins up until the day he settled on the Toyota.

I agree, I have a trip from Houston to Phoenix, then from there to Traverse City, MI and back to TX coming up. I'm not going to complain about the steady diesel prices!

Gime me a hollar when you're up this way.

I filled up today for $2. 84 and the reg unleaded was $3. 64

Paid $2. 619 in OKC yesterday... freakin unleaded was $3. 259!!! :eek:Unfortunately I had the '93 back there and no extra 100 gallon tank to fill!

What's up with you guys having diesel under 3 bucks

It's been an ETERNITY since we had diesel under $3. 00, it's been at ~$3. 15 for a long time. The cheapest we've had since Katrina is $2. 72 briefly, otherwise we've been in the $3. 00 neighborhood almost 2 years running.

Palm Beach Fuel

One of most expensive counties in Florida, I got diesel yesterday for $2. 81 p/gal. Not cheap, but good for this area. 5 miles north its $3. 40 for diesel. It pays to shop around. Makes the wife grumble driving her gasser to work. hehe #@$%!

Diesel at "Flying J" in Albuquerque is up to $2. 79 now. It's two cents per gallon cheaper to drive my, regular gasoline, Toyota Avalon then my CTD.

Its the same deal here in Canada. Diesel has remained about the same and gas is through the roof. Makes me wish the wifes Jeep Liberty had the CRD! The CRD wasn't available until after we took delivery of ours. And now the CRD has been discontinued. #@$%!

Prices here are about $0. 929 CDN per Litre ($3. 79 USD per Gallon) for diesel and gas is around $1. 214 CDN per Litre ($4. 96 USD per Gallon)!

I work in the oil and gas industry so I don't complain about fuel prices. If the prices were half what they are now, I'd be unemployed.
