Well since this was brought back I have a question. .

Its probably in the last 92 pages but I am pretty pooped to read through so maybe someone knows this-



Lets say I buy a smarty today and flash in what program I like,

Will this TSB flash

A- be included when I install the smarty?

B- be included only when I go back to stock settings?

C- neither A or B if the truck never had that flash update to begin with?

That would be a question for Bob or Marco... but my understanding is that Smarty should include all of the latest and greatest TSB's for these trucks and the beauty of Smarty is that it is updateable form the web so when new softwares or TSB's are released you have access to them from Mads.

This thread deals mostly with the 2nd gen, VP pumped trucks, so your question wasn't answered directly here about that particular TSB. I would think if you don't want it, Marco could probably write it out of the stock software included in the Smarty(if demand is enough).

The APB is a fuel box manufactured by Blue Chip. The APB is for the 1998. 5-2002 trucks only.

3. 55---6 speed with BFG"S A/T--285/75/16------I like them better than the 315/75/16(changed my mind from 3 months ago)for cruising to our place at the lake. Smarty gives me 22MPG at 75MPH(a tach needle over 2000RPM)on #7 setting. My 5 Toyo's are for sale ---cheap/fair price to someone LOCALLY(less than 1000KM of use---spare has no miles),they just won"t work for me now that i"m up to a new fiver and towing more than ever planned.
