Does one need to be a member of the NHRDA to participate in these events?



Nevermind the first question I just visited the sight and yes I do. Guess I will be sighning up now. Is it an instant membership or is there a waiting period or anything else other than pay the fee and your a member?



Finally something somewhat close to home "Only 380 miles away"and I am on vacation that week with no other plans and the wife said sure I will go to Billings. Oo. .



Update: I am the newest member of the NHRDA.



I have sled pulled a few times but never drag raced. Looks like I will be drag racing a couple times in June now. There are local 1/8 mile drags in Dickenson ND at the end of June and some coworkers talked me into trying it there.

If 10 trucks sign up for the Heads Up Class, payout will be $1000. 00 Bucks- *must be NHRA legal for the times your vehicle turns... .

Last year we had about 19 trucks from the local area show up. It would be nice to have alot more.

I was at Gomers Diesel in Missoula last weekend for their Dyno day and sounds like there are going to be quite a few of them headed out there. Randy and the NHRDA always put on a first class event. Should be fun for all.

I know of a few guys who want to race,but are not NHRDA members yet. Will they be able to sign up to be members at the event or are they out of luck?

It would be faster if they did on-line and that way they can get right to tech when they get to the track... But you will be able to join at the event.

I wish my Silver Bullet would have been done to use at the track. I've gotten two more trucks from Great Falls to commit to going.

We had a great turnout for this event. The last count I heard was 30 trucks with the majority being Pro2 class. It was alot of fun. Definitly looking forward to next years event.

I heard there was a tubed truck Chevy there, any pics of it? Heard he was having problems and was only able to click times off in the 11's...

It was One of G&J diesel performace's trucks called the "Dirtymax" and he snapped the pinion off on his second or third qualifying run.



I think An 05 ford won the pro 2 class brackets and the ATS Duramax driven by Boyd won both the pro 1 and heads up class. If I remember right he was up against Hoss and red rocket both times.



Opie and his duramax red lighted more than once. :-laf



Hoss and red rocket won the quick 10 at 10 on friday night's street legal races also.

Yes there was and that is one lucky kid. He is just out of high school and mommy and daddy buy him a race truck. It was set up pretty nice.

The guy that won pro2 runs Advanced performance Diesel in Kalispell Mt. He's a pretty good guy and he was running a 05 Ford. We took 3rd place in that class. Webroke out in the semi final. Thetruck was running consistent all day and then ran two tenths quicker in the semifinal round. #@$%!

Blacksheep I saw your rig run, that is a lot of rig to get rolling.



I tried to catch you at your rig but you were not there the couple times I walked by.



I really broke out bad also on the first bracket run I ran 1. 1 seconds faster than I had all day. I would have probably lost anyway. the kid I ran against hit his zero time within . 05 sec. and had a . 005 reaction time.



G&J's mustang load dyno was not forgiving at all either. Everyone there saw 50-70 hp less than they are all used to seeing. They loaded the heck out of the rigs. They claimed they may not have had it calibrated exactly right either.
