I have a 99 auto, all stock except for the FASS and EDGE Juice w/ Attitude. Mileage is my biggest concern, but I of course like having power available. I'm also very big on getting the most for my money.
I think my vp44 is going out, so I'm looking at replacing that. At the same time, I'm thinking about injectors. I know the potential is there to destroy the transmission, but I take it pretty easy, and I'm prepared to deal with that when the need arises (full DTT and TC by local shop).
So is it worth it to go with a HRvp44? It looks like that's a 600 dollar premium for 50 hp ($1045 v $1645).
I'm thinking about the RV 275 injector or the mach 1. 6's or 4's.
Does it make a difference if I go with the HRvp44? I think I'm leaning toward the standard VP44 because of the price.
