Ok, some issues I’d like to see addressed in a future edition of the TDR magazine, where the facts are separated from speculation:
What exactly is “Torque Management” on a stock truck?
Why is there a tsb and/or recall for the 2006 MY to install hoses on the fuel tank rollover valves but not for any of the older trucks?? Are some ROVs sealed and others open? How many years are affected? What’s the real scoop?
What is the real story on fuel filtration for the 3Gs? Who wants what? Dodge says 7 mic, rumor has it that Bosch says 5 mic, more rumors say 5 mic debris trashed the fuel system in tests? What’s real, what’s poop?
Why is the stock “Class IV” hitch only rated to carry 350lbs tongue weight without an equalizer hitch while every other class IV hitch appears to be capable of 10% of the max rated capacity (usually 1000 lbs tongue weight)? Is the stock hitch of inferior design and needs to be upgraded?
An in depth explanation of the third injection event, especially how it effects egts, fuel economy and power output would be interesting.
Just some issues that don’t seem to have any definitive answer on the forums. If any of them could be researched through DCX or Cummins via TDR’s connections that would be great.
The TDR mag is always an interesting read. The only bad thing is having to wait so long for the next issue! Keep up the good work!
