I was fine and very continent with my 98. 5 2500 2wd. I've done a lot of lower weight towing (under 10,000) with no issues whatsoever. Then the day came when the wife and I found a 2005 Cedar Creek 36bks that we purchased from the bank for just over 17K. Lets just say it was not very pretty inside.
My 2500 did fine moving this 15K trailer around town, but how will it be on the road with the crosswinds in the California desert. I just did not want to change my underwear that often. After reading all the post for the past few months, and even though about jumping ship (4 letter F word) Settled on a 3500 DRW.
Tried to get the 6 speed Rear disc, but got a good deal on a 2001 5 speed 4x4 with ranch hands chipped with 4" exhaust, with the same mileage my truck had (180,000) Now all I need to do is get it home Oo.
My new truck is in Cuero Tx I'm in Los Angeles.
Anyone Know of a good inexpensive car transport Co.
