Hey guys here some food for thought, If you can locate a VW turbo diesel VE injection pump that is NFG rob the fuel pin & AFC spring from it, the spring isn't as strong as the Cummins VE spring & also about . 030 shorter, makes fueling come on sooner & with a little less boost, +++ The fuel pin on the VW pump isn't ground as deep so there is a lot more meat to play with when you do your custom grind job, This is what I've done and the results are very sweet, All measurements on the VW pin are exactly the same as the Cummins pin (excluding the cone shape), even the rubber diaphram will fit, Any VW turbo diesel VE pump from the years 85-92 will work fine. Grind away guys now you have room for a mega grind!!!!!! I was lucky I have a turbo diesel VW + a spare VE pump, So I Used the pin from the Cummins with the sharper cone angles to increase my VW's performance & ground on the VW pin for my Cummins, Just another way to perfect your low cost Cummins project
