Is anyone running one. Are they worth the $$$. Just curious about this. There doesn't seem to be too many post about this. What are the plus and minuses of it?

If our rail does not add performance T&C will replace the modded rail with factory and pay all shipping charges... Up to today's date No one has ask for a refund. . or exchange. .

I'm fairly happy with the performance of my 06. It ran a new best this past weekend of 11. 68 at 119. 69 with a 1. 81 60'. . I have dual CP3's, modded injector bodies, and 200hp injectors. In general, what kind of hp increase could possibly I see at the wheels. Minumum-maximum. . If I run the small injectors during off season, will there be any downfalls to the modded rails? Also, will this increase my EGT's? I'm hitting 1500 around 100mph now. .

30 to 60 hp, Modded rail will enhance off the Line Performance more than Hp Benefits... Downside Installation is about 1. 5 hrs, You Need a 27mm deep socket or wrench to Remove the P-Sensor for easy removal,No need for dual lines. . I have been working on our double Volume single Line direct replacement, But I cannot find any company that is willing to bent such thick wall tubing. . With Your Twin setup you will notice the change. .

will there be any adverse affects? I tow alot and don't want any mods that are going to create problems. This seems like a fairly good price for 30-60hp gain. Also has this debate over the rails being coated(inside) come to any conclusion?

Yes it has,Here is a link Modified Rail(s) - Competition Diesel. Com - Bringing The BEST Together

T&C wild & mild rails have Been available for close to Two years,This Person who Tried to copy our Products even stole our Names, than defame and lied about the factory Products... to build some type of controversies over the Modding has completely failed. Our Sales are Up over 61% over 2006, most of this is due to our Modded Rails. . I do not want to drop down to his level, He will just beat Me up with experience.

wild and mild rails?Which is better suited for what. Wil be going to towing twins soon and posible change over to smarty/tst/mp-8 stack. Looking to build the ultimate tow rig with a few runs down the strip thrown in here and there. Definitely not trying to break any HP records but don't want to buy a mild when wild will still work. Does this mod help maintain rail pressure for a set-up that is somewhat causing a drainage issue? Is there still a need for a modded cp-3?

Wild will support any Setup, Mild will only support modest Hp gains. . Yes it main Purpose is stop drainage. . Added Hp is a side Benefit. . also in most cases off the line performance is greatly enhanced. .

All the mod does is drill out the passageways to make them bigger. The only possible adverse affect is to make the rail weaker. I just had mine done and it still looks plenty beefy and I haven't heard of anybody rupturing one yet, so I think you are safe. Here are a few pictures of a wild rail.

The same logic applies to the wild vs mild. There's absolutely no reason not to go wild.

I would be disappointed if you Don't easily Break 600 this weekend. .

well on the same dyno with exact same mods as I have now... I did 604hp. one month later backed it up with 582hp (same settings, different weather)

The only change I have made since then is the walbro pump. Thus why I will need a baseline... .

Looking forward to this weekend ;)

does anyone have any real life results track or dyno? with just installing this product.

thanks

Funny you should ask - I happen to dyno today, then I bust my knuckles for an hour with the new rail, then dynoed again...

One SMALL disclaimer - A very low baseline leads me to believe my rail pressure relief valve is absolutely toast, everytime this truck sees a dyno a posts a lower number... BUT I was already there so I still installed the T&C modded rail just to see what would happen. (I plan on test again once I have a new relief valve on) And here are the results:

STOCK RAIL:

#ad

MODDED RAIL:

#ad

Obvisouly it was not the results I wanted, BUT with a blow relief valve, what can you expect?? I chalk this one up to a succesful test still though - showing that the modded rail moved the useable HP down in the RPM band. Once the new relief valve is in I will test to see if the modded rail can make more MAX HP

PS - This means more TQ for same given HP, does it not?

TG--Do you still have a rail pressure gauge? If so how was your RP?

Randy

whoops... 1000 lashings for me - I lent it to KevinO for his truck... Really did not think I needed it until now.

I think I might go get it back ;) thats and a new valve
