Thanks Gonzo2. The Onan generator runs on propane, which I like. No need to carry gasoline with us.

... and the engine oil stays clean after many hours of running. The carb doesn't fill with stale gasoline, varnish, and gum if it sets for while since the propane vapor fuel is "dry".

I believe propane's a good why to go. I had a 3. 4KW Generac in my Lance camper (sold) and I could never tell much fuel consumption. The Onan is a little quieter than the Generac.

Thanks Marc, we like it so far and the dealer in Pinehurst, ID was great. I saw the floor plan on your 32D. Really nice layout. Are you getting the cargo door? Who's your dealer?

Cargo door for the kids bikes, electric jack etc..... The dealer up here is called Trailer Town, Calgary Alberta Canada, great dealer. I've bought 3 Rv's from them and their service always brings me back. This one is going to be loaded right up and then going to do some stereo / tv work to make it real homey

Yep, that's been my experience. I agree, the Onan is quieter running at full power than the Generac; however, the Generac can power both a 13. 5K A/C and a microwave wheras the Onan struggles to power a 11K A/C and a microwave at the same time.

That's why I went with the Onan 6500 LP. It has been a great genny and has powered us with 2 AC's and Microwave at the same time (we stopped for lunch 30 miles east of Barstow CA 2 July's ago. It was well over 110°).



I agree with the propane choice also, though I run mine once a month or so to keep my batteries up.

Hey Grizzly, trailer showed up alright, wrong interior colour and no garage doors... ... ... ... ... ... now got start looking a gain after the holidays. I emailed the place where you got yours to see if they would sell to Canadians, and they haven't got back to me. I'll start looking harder after the new year. :{

Pictures of the Fox. As you can see it will not fit in my Trailer Port attached to my barn. The solution is that I will take the roof apart on the trailer Port only and build it again 12 to 14" higher.



The last photo is the 5er at Pinehurst RV in Idaho.

Trailerport roof completed. I took the roof completely apart and raised it 18" and added an additional 8' to the back to accommodate the 5th wheel and my truck. The trailerport is now 52' long and more then enough height.
