1989 w/Wait to Start Lamp on while driving

Guys,



Does any one recall what the problem was when we discussed this some time ago on a 1989 truck?



I was thinking it was the charge air temp sensor in the head that was faulty



There is a local truck with the light illuminated and he asked me what the problem could be. Please help me look knowledgable.



My early 1st generation rig has no toaster oven. Otherwise I could experiment.

It is probably the intake air temperature sensor (IAT) located on the intake manifold below the grid heater.
