Does any one recall what the problem was when we discussed this some time ago on a 1989 truck?



I was thinking it was the charge air temp sensor in the head that was faulty :confused:



There is a local truck with the light illuminated and he asked me what the problem could be. Please help me look knowledgable. ;)



My early 1st generation rig has no toaster oven. :eek: Otherwise I could experiment.

It is probably the intake air temperature sensor (IAT) located on the intake manifold below the grid heater.

If I stood next to you AND tried to explain it myself, you would look like the reincarnation of Albert Einstein... . that is, if he was knowledgeable about the Cummins B engine... yeah... :confused::rolleyes:
