It ends with 210B, does that equal mild tq?

JJPage,

This version would be known to be the closest to "Aftermarket Turbo and Stock Injector - Mild Torque". I spoke to Bob a few hours ago about this same question.

Misspeak

I am running SW9 and noticed more rattle than ever at idle.

You don't even notice it once you are moving though.

Sounded like an 02 this morning when I started it!!! Was about 30°.

Smoke is all but gone, power is going to be good for towing and daily driving.
I think I misspoke(I'm sounding like a politician) when I used the term "clatter". It's more like a tinging or metallic ringing sound. It's noticable when the motor is cold and hardly audible when engine's warmed up. Incidentally,my overhead is showing a 1 mpg. increase which I hope is real, but sounds like it's the result of the programmer. We'll see. I'm going to leave it on sw#1 for 400 miles, then see if my clutch will handle sw#3. If it does,I'll run sw#3 for 400 miles, then compare fuel economy.

The Beta 4. x really cleans up the smoke. Tried it out on the way home today and only say a light haze with SW#3. It also feels more responsive than the previous without the go peddle being extremely touchy.

I only drove about 10 miles on level 5 tonight but this seem to be about perfect.

Level 5 seems to have a little less power then my last level 5 program, but I won't know until I can get on a dyno.

However, I can see 38psi sustained, not jumpy. On a run from 55-80MPH in 6th gear I did not break 900 deg.

THERE IS NO PRESSURE IN THIS SOFTWARE RELEASE, REPEAT AFTER ME N O N E

Sounds goods... so you mean no added pressure over stock, but there still could be the possibility of pressure manipulation? (yeah, I'm reaching here... :-laf)

According to my rail gauge it seems like it ramps the pressure in earlier, but in no way increases it over stock level.

If this is not it, then it must be the modded CP3 doing its thing

I think this is going to work great for towing this next summer.

I drove a little more this morning.

There is a hill on the way to work that if I leave the stop sign hard I would be doing 85MPH before the corner and about 1,400*.

1,000* this morning and 80MPH. I was pulling 38-39psi constant up the hill.

I am however getting crazy timing rattle or something from around 2,500-2,900RPM. I didn't really break 3,000RPM yet.

Thank You NAUIdvr1,

The "which turbo & injector" program was my next question. I have tried to follow the programming sequence since the start, but when s06 came out after my s04, it became a bit confusing.

I had weird thing happen last night. To get away from the timeing rattle of the Smarty I loaded sw2 and ran the TST at 2/1(old TST) and VA 3. 1 on low power. It ran excellent, for about an hour. I threw a 0036 code (very common for me w/tst) normally the truck runs no different after the code, but last night the truck turned into a dog. Almost like a dead pedal when a vp44 is about to puke, not that extreme but you get the idea. The weird thing was that rail pressure was hitting 27kpsi (before the trouble I was maxing at 25kpsi) and on the above settings that has never happened. I went back to stock tune and it seems fine. WEIRD 'eh??

Sounds like I need to invest in a RP gauge in the future.

Well, the transmission seems to shift better, but it wiped out the wild torque management s/w. Seems like it's running stock torque now.

I Love the Beta Programming!

I got the lastest Beta software after 3 (or maybe 4) trys... thanks again Bob for the quick responses in getting this to me. The new update is awesome!! Oo. I usually run SW#3... is the new SW#3 really only adding 60hp? It feels a lot stronger to me! The throttle response is much improved compared to the last version I've run, and I have no smoke at all. I can't say much about EGT's but they were no higher than before with just highway driving... I'll find out for sure next summer when towing the travel trailer. The boost seems to come up faster than before too. Overall, I love this software... Marco and Bob, you guys are doing a fantastic job with this stuff... keep up the great work! Todd Schwantes.
