Can anybody please tell me the pros and cons of the 2 approaches to keeping the sway bar in the OEM position? On Carli's website, drop blocks are evil, on Lorenz, its either/or, and Kore goes with drop blocks on all kits. I just got the Kore HR leveling kit (couldnt pass up the price), and will probably get bilstien shocks for the rear and eventually the Carli rear spring once I get the piggy bank filled back up again. This is my -for-the-rest-of-my-life-do-everthing-truck-(except racing); the most off-roading I do with it now is my annual Wyoming deer/antelope trip on a cattle ranch in which I traverse across the prarie here and there to pick up downed critters or get into position. That will include the unseen cattle track under the sage or minor washout. I will admit to a little "spirited" driving on occasion on the dirt roads to get ahead of the BIG ONE I just saw leaving the immediate area.
I have been reading the various posts and know that I will need to check my alignment after I install the kit (right?), but if extended links are the better way to go, I'll wait until I have them in hand before I start to disassemble things. I really only wanna do this once.
I'd appreciated any and all pearls of wisdom you would care to cast my way.
thanks, guys!
