Bob W.

I have emailed you twice with questions about smoke w/ my Jr. but I have not heard from you. Do you still use your MSN account??

Ramon

Just got mine today and will load it in tomorrow. 40 hp setting, no other mods, we'll see. Have hand calculated every tank of fuel since new so have a reliable record for comparison. I'll report mileage differences (if any) and power impressions ASAP. Cheers!

i have the edge juice with attitude and mods in my sig. I also have 90hp injectors htt turbo and air dog coming. Should i sell the edge and get the smarty? If so which one? Or should i stack it with my edge? Thnx

I would think you would get more out of your mods with a smarty Sr... . Better power with better EGT's... . But you will loose your gauges, but I prefer analog for the important stuff anyways... .

I should have never read this post...

My debate is, I plan to eventually change out the turbo one day, but probably not for acouple of years. Should I wait and save up for the smarty sr? or buy a jr now and probably be perfectly happy with it... I think I've answered my own question. And I dont think I'm going to get new boots with my tax return any more...

p-Bar,

I have an '03, HO that I did the "Tone Ring Mod" which is essentially the same thing as what the Rocktek does. When I installed the Smarty Jr. , it seemed like I had too much timing rattle. I'm not savvy-enough on these things to actually know how much is "too much" but, it worried me enough to bring back the Tone Ring Mod to the stock position. The excess rattling went away, also.

I understand from reading on these sites that you 'can' have too much timing. Again, I don't know if the Rocktek & Smarty Jr. 'IS' too much but, I thought I'd err on the safe side.

Thanks Joe for your input, If you read the rokktech site they say all these engines seem to react differently to timing advance. I have reinstalled the Rokktech along with Jr. , doesn't seem to be getting that gnarling rattle that they talk about,My overhead is reading a lot higher , but we know how that goes. I'll hand calc and see what comes out of it. I'll read up onthe tone ring mod. Thanks again

Thanks Bob, for those of those of us who are not familiar with what REVO will offers us, will there be some type of operating instructions listed as well?
Thanks

I got mine today!!! It has REVO in it.

So, really romping on it at low RPM, produces a LOT of smoke for me. I will be experimenting with the REVO options to reduce smoke.

BOB, I read the attachment on the Jr REVO settings. Which setting will have the most timing? I would like to have the same timing as I had BEFORE I installed the "Low Smoke" update. Thanks, Chris

Great to see I can finally talk about it. I have been running the Jr Revo for about 6 weeks now and I really like it. I guess I need to update to the final version, but the SW1 version and all of its options have been great.

Good work Bob and Marco.
