This is driving me nuts! My clutch pedal is sqeaking VERY consistantly. I have sprayed WD-40 on overy moving part that I can see under there with no results. Anybody have any other ideas?
Just spray the plastic bushing that hooks to the clutch rod with lithium grease or Panther ****, works great. Spray your door hinges while you have it out.
Mine pedal started squeeking also on and off and I sprayed with WD-40 and that fixed it.
NOW, I have a loose clutch pedal! I think a bushing or something must have fallen out. All I saw was a plastic washer come out and I out it back in, but I have 1-2 inches of play at the top side. Does anyone have a parts list of the hardware that is supposed to be in there?
There is a bushing that goes in that assembly. It has a flange on one end, then a washer and then the clip. It would easier to make a new on if you lost it, (if know someone that can use a lathe). I had some play in my clutch and before i knew my master cylinder was dead. I replaced the whole unit with the South Bend unit. it easy to replace, and is much nicer than OEM.
