So last week i ordered a bully dog PMT for my 08 3500 received it today installed and updated it and i get a unknown vehicle warning ??? so update it again but no option for a 08 6. 7 ?:confused:
so i call tech and they tell me that there is no program for the 6. 7 :mad:
no program for the chip they advertised as being for the 08 6. 7
no program for the chip they sold me as being for the 08 6. 7 #@$%!

so now i have a $1100 rpm gauge:{

I took the liberty of calling Bully Dog about your situation. They told me that there will be a program for the 6. 7 available in 1. 5-2 weeks. You have all the hardware you need, you just need to download the program when it comes out. If it's not out in the 2 week period, you can call them to find out what the hold up is. You can reach them at 877-285-5936.

Thank you dave sounds like got a better response then me i just got a cold shoulder and was told there was no program and when i asked if they knew when he just said i dont know????

and im not talking bad about bully dog but $1100 for a rpm gauge sucks!
 
I can guarantee you that what they did is illegal if you bought it directly from BullyDog(DECEPTION).



So they sold you a product that doesn't even exist yet very nice. Your handling it way better then I would be, so what happens now, can you trust these guys for updates, product support and technical support. Not me get rid of it and purchase a SMARTY for your truck you will not regret it.



They must take it back installed or not remember the product does not exist(programming) you were lied too. You could of purchased a SMARTY and a couple of gauges for 1100 bucks or less. And don't hold your breath for the updated program, if they say 2 weeks give yourself a month or more.



Sorry for your trouble don't let this push you away from other vendors on this board.

Hopefully you purchased by credit card!:D If so just dispute the charges with the credit card company and they almost always take the consumer's side, especially when you are right. Then the shysters at BullyDog will get a chargeback and have to deal with the credit card company!!;)
 
they most definalty should credit you back, if we sell something to a cust and it doesn't work on his or her truck we take it back no problem. i posted in your other thread about the different flashes from dodge. oh and that company is not Bully Dog, they just use their name.

Does your paperwork (receipts, order from, etc) specifically state the make, model and year? If so then they should not have sold it to you if the program doesn’t exist and they should take it back no questions asked.



The Bullydog site is somewhat misleading since it clearly states, in more than one place, that the PMT is “The BEST diesel performance product on the market is now available for all '08 trucks. ” Last time I checked, ALL meant everything, in this case, every model of diesel truck sold as an 08.



You might try giving Bullydog a link to this thread and stress that the negative PR will be far more damaging to their reputation and cost them more in the long run than them having to take back an “installed” product, even if they had to throw it away! If they are a stand up company they will work with you to resolve this.

I'd consider filing a complaint with your state's office of consumer protection which is normally under the authority of your state attorney general.

There is no smarty for the 6. 7 trucks... ... . yet.
