I went from BD 110XXX injectors to RV275's to try to get back some mileage and now the truck idles low and will die at a stoplight if the a/c is on. The injectors are new Bosch from MWFI. What might be the problem? :mad:

That is where I got mine a couple months ago. It ran rough for the first minute or so while all the air purged out, but smoothed right out and has been great ever since. Hope one of your injectors isn't the issue.

It idles a little erratic but not much different than the BD's, just at a lower rpm. When I get off the throttle it dips below 500 rpm and bounces up to 800 rpm.

I *TRIED* a set of RV275 injectors (from a vendor who shall remain nameless at the moment, but really stuck by me through this. It wasn't MWFI, BTW. )

Short story is that my 99 wouldn't even start with the new injectors. I got the mechanic in touch with the vendor who promptly overnighted me a new set of Jammer Stage II tips to swap onto my original injector bodies. The truck fired right up with the new tips. I shelled out for at least 12 extra hours of unnecessary shop labor for those crummy injectors.

I honestly do not know what the problem was with the RV275 injectors, if they weren't popping right, poor spray, or whatever.

I guess I will put the BD's back in and see what that does. If that makes a difference I will take the 275's to have them pop tested. Got to love quality products!

The Rv 275's from MWFI are brand new injectors from bosch. I'd do some trouble shooting before I yanked them. How are your orings on your cross over tubes.

All of the tube o-rings look good. I am in the process of re-installing the BD's and will let you know what happens. I was informed that my new SO pump may run poorly in my HO motor with these injectors. Dont know what the difference is, timing I assume.

Just got back from a test drive, oh ya, now the truck runs as it should. I think the 275's were not properly pop tested. I am going to take them to a bosch service center and have them tested. Wish I would have had them checked first, would have saved me a lot of time. :{

Hope that doesn't cost too much. Think I would consider calling MWFI and letting them know about this. Let us know what the test shows.

And that's where I'm at as well. I bought new injectors, I should *NOT* have to test them prior to installation.

You should see no difference in idle from stock to RV275 injectors. If you still have them you should check the exhaust temp at each exhaust port (an infared gun works good) I believe you will find one of the injectors is not firing at idle but when pressure builds as you increase throttle the injector opens.

That's what I thought as well. Just because they are new doesn't mean they will all be good. I guess I should have learned that by now, seems I am destined to do everything twice.

Sorry to hear of your problem! I have a set of 275's I bought from MWFI off their E-Bay site and they sat for 3 years before I put them in last fall, and they have been great from the get-go. The thought of having to test them prior to installation never crossed my mind. :eek:
