Just got the DTT upgrades with smart controller. Can't wait to try it out hauling my Lance camper to the Arizona high country this weekend. I hope it proves to be worth it in the long run. Stock transmission reportedly in real good shape, but then again I did not have the Edge installed very long before the DTT upgrade. So far, firmer shifts, firm TC lockup, runs about 15 degrees cooler in the Arizona heat, continuous TC lockup in 3rd and 4th above 30 mph and in 2nd from 18-30 mph. Impressed so far, but it hasn't been tested by Father time.

One of the first things I noticed when I had my '99 upgraded with a DTT was the immediate off-idle throttle response, instead of waiting for 1300 rpm's to arrive. Hopefully they instructed you to hesitate in neutral before shifting from reverse to park.

i love my dtt i have 46000 miles on my transmission and i use it to pull heavy loads at least half of these miles were pulling and realy works great
