I have a 2007 3500 5. 9 with 40k on the odo (mods are AFE Cold air kit and muffler delete). I recently (less than 150 miles) had the #2 injector replaced after it threw a p2146 and p0202 code.
Well, I go to start the truck today and here we go again. This time p2146, 0201, 0202, 0203.
So my question is this, does anyone know what other circuits are on the "group #1" fuel injection side? I can't believe another injector solenoid on the same circuit shorted out. I don't have a wiring diagram to see what else is on the same circuit to see if there are any wires to other components grounding out to cause this. I checked the A/C wires, as I read they might be on the same circuit, all appears to be well and no other codes thrown.
Although when I do the ign on/off/on/off/on with the trip button I do get "hr 1081". don't have the slightest clue what that means.
Would hate to take it to the dealer again, as they just did the #2 injector under warranty, but less than stellar satisfaction. ie broken intake and JB'd back together, hoses to the valve cover not hooked back up and oil in the engine compartment.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as getting another injector replaced with the possibility of it getting shorted out again would stink, especially if towing my race car.
