After calling them 3 times and spending 1. 5 hours on the phone I found no satisfaction. Shuffled from India (very hard to understand) to back here to senior reps they have not told me why a front brake hose cost $885. 00 dollars. Funny how they all have names in India like Glen, Gary, Tom and Joe:-laf. Yes I got all the stories from different parts people at the dealers on the why but nothing from Chrysler. As bad of a hole as they are in you would figure they would try harder before they go belly up.

Thanks to the forum here I bought a Wagner hose for 40 bucks. I did order a custom hose from a vendor here but was not sure on using it as the stainless line did not have bends like the OEM as we know can't be done. I paid 50 for next day and I am sure it would have worked as others here have used it. They were nice enough to say I could ship it back for credit. I hope to get the base price back or most of it.

I ask Chrysler why would I buy a product from them knowing a part could cost more than 22 times what I could buy it from Wagner Brakes. No answer from them or the dealer. My truck has had a few problems, lift pump, cab leak from clearance lights (never fixed), transmission went at 100,000 +-, and the governor switch at 20,000. I like the truck and the Cummins so after production was being moved back to the USA I would have probably been looking at a new Ram.

I plan to keep my truck but I will be buying a new dooley soon but it will not be a Chrysler after there customer service. Good Luck Chrysler with your sinking ship. You just knocked another hole in your ship with me and are takig on water fast. Sad to see a domestic company with such a bad reputation and customer service.

I have not any real problems in almost eight years with my current truck, I consider my self lucky, I got a good one. I feel for you, but if you think you can escape this type of frustration by changing brands, you might get lucky, or not. If you choose a Ford, definetly good luck with that, I had a taste of Ford's customer service with a POS PSD.

not knocking the truck but the customer service and lack of explanation for a rip-off price. If I can buy it from Wagner why can't Dodge instead of telling me 885 for a 40 buck hose. I am sure the standards it is made to would pass Chryslers testing. I doubt even though made in China the Wagner hose is sub-standard. If it was not for this forum I would not have known another option because NAPA and others told me no hose available. Some people would get stuck and have to pay 885. Then for the rep to say we will call you back and the next one to tell me we just take the complaint is bad business. Dealer was not interested in any way shape or form or should I say the sales person.

I have a Excursion with a PSD 04 and it has been good for 50,000 with a few sensor issues issues. I do like the Cummins better.

Then to shuffle me off to some guy in India who is hard to understand and won't even listen. He said he will call the dealer to see if I was over charged. I didn't even buy one and second I told him I got the same price from 3 dealers all the same. I had to sit through his BS to work to the next level which was no satisfaction either.

Oh then there is the ball joints in front and ruined hubs trying to remove them at 50,000
