Where I live, there is a Sinclair station selling Diesel for $4. 25. 9/Gal. Down the road a block a "Phillips" station is selling at $4. 79. 9/Gal.
Although Fuel prices have come down, here where I live, the prices are higher than nearly everywhere else in the Country.

Europe's take on diesel is correct, but the $1. 50/gal. lower price is taxpayer subsidized. I'm hoping we subsidize algae diesel technology, which has tremendous potential. $4. 05 here today and I'm going to top off as this thing in Russia-Georgia is spooking me.What is so freaking SAD is that diesel is still over 50 cents a gallon HIGHER than gasoline. We have such backwards thinking in this country. In Europe (where diesel is not DAMNED and efficiency is encouraged), diesel is LESS than gasoline... .
Makes no sense.
