Gary, haven't you learned by now that when you even mention the word Smarty, the kool-aid drinkers are going to come out of the woodwork and bash you? :-laf:-laf:-laf

Geez, Fred. Did you think I was drinking purple Kool-Aid & bashing on Gary? I just didn't see that selling the Smarty & installing an air horn as a trade. (apples & apes) I well understand those with surging issues getting frustrated waiting for a new update & he has commented on that in a constructive manor. Heck, your just giving Gary a humorous slap on the back but I'm sensitive about being called a bashing Kool-Aid drinker. As for the DTT air horn, if it had been on the market when I got my High Ram I'd have the DTT too. Gary, I didn't mean to offend you.

DH,

We all got proverbial egg on our face waiting for these promised upgrades... . I just got fed up, like Gary, and got rid of my Smarty. I'm sorry if you're sensitive, but you're defending a company that has ignored its customers for the better part of two years, then threw a program at them to shut them up, and they don't even tell them how to use it! This is why I say you drank the Kool-Aid.

I've been reading the Revolution thread and I have yet to see Bob answer any recent questions about how to use the new software. The way I read your posts you don't seem too happy about the fact that you're still left hanging in the wind to figure it out for yourself. Am I reading your posts wrong? If I am, then I profusely apologize.

Cool Video. . Was a perfect choice of tunes. . :-laf

Your engine bay looks clean enough to eat off of, change that, make it clean enough to cook on! Make up some foil packs of tater's carrots, onions and a bit of roast, tow for 45 minutes, turn over, coast for 15 minutes and serve.
Got garlic toast in there?

Not to start a war or anything, but I wonder what would give better fuel mileage gains. . Smarty on SW1 or switching to. . AMMMSOIL
(Fuse lit, time to run)

Fred, your right that I'd like more information but as for the performance of the SW programs, I'm quite pleased. No Kool-Aid here. It works great. Customer service is another issue. Bob has been slow with me many times but has come through. To be fair, it's all been e-mail as I've never called on the phone. I hope you don't think I was trying to bash Gary.

Just set your Smarty on #1 & run the spent Amsoil through the fuel tank. :-laf

Guys - all's cool, no offense intended or taken...

Cheers!

Gary

Finally got a look at the video and loved it, until some of my young soldiers who aren't saavy in the ways of the diesel took a look (I had the video on the overhead) and asked, "Sergeant, why are those guys trying to pollute the air with all that smoke? Don't they know they're killing the environment?"

:--)   :--)

When I was a Private way back when, my squad leader, a Staff Sergeant, used to always say, "This ain't the Army I joined".

I never understood what he meant, until now. :(

Fred, do they wear flowers in their hair - and sit around the campfire at night singing "Cum-by-yah"? :-laf:-laf

Tell 'em that's not smoke - it's power sweat...
