Best Tip for Next Year -

OK - we've all had to deal with receipts for stuff we purchase - work done - etc. A lot of the receipts we get are now on that crummy poor paper that fades... So if we're dilligent in keeping them - and then lucky enough to find them when needed - they have faded and you can't read them..... so this is what I've been doing for over a year -

I scan all my receipts and bills into m PC! Oo.

Man has that saved me and I can find them very easy - so my advice - if you don't have a scanner - BUY ONE - for this use only..... you'll never have to thumb through a box or a zillion files in a folder under DODGE again.....

Well, I've had the same problem with those receipts fading out, especially the ones where we bought batteries, tires and such for the cars. I wasn't as creative as you but I did run a copy on my multi-function printer and it has saved us several times.

Thanks for the tip. I may indeed set-up a folder and scan those receipts.

This is a really good idea! The laser printer stuff fades away too fast.

If you owned a 1st gen you'd only have about 3 or 4 receipts for the year.

Hammersley - - What a great idea - -never thought of it! Even the fuel tickets would be kept in order.
