Hello. Like it says. My truck is kind of high, so I tend to melt out of the seat to the ground. I killed my first seat cushion. I replaced it w/a single cab cushion (does not fit well), and that cushion is ripping right above the metal. Any ideas, tips, or websites that can clue me into a diff seat? I remember reading a magazine where a guy had a 3rd gen. Dodge w/some aftermarket seats that had their own suspension or something.

Thanx.

I have a Bostrom Wide-Ride low profile air-ride seat that I tried in my Peterbilt. It was too low for that truck, but I am pondering the idea of putting it in my 5500. The only thing I think may be a problem is that it has armrests that might make fitment an issue. If you decide to try this, I would recommend ordering the seat without armrests. The air suspension on these seats allow for a very low profile in cab. Check the specs out for yourself. Google "Bostrom Truck Seats".

Thanx. Funny you said that. I was just looking at a site for big truck seats. I was looking at that seat (I think it is close to $1000). I am now looking at national. I don't think I will need an armrest because of the fold down seat & the door arm rest.

Thanx again.

I don't know where you live, but I bought mine from the Chrome Shop Mafia guys at 4-State Truck Parts in Joplin MO for under $700.
