Yet Another DRL ?

Read a few posts on TDR about getting the DRL to work. Stopped in the dealer today to make an appt for warranty work, and asked about the DRL. Lady told me that 'if my truck had the right equip installed'. What does she mean by that? I haven't seen any posts that referenced special equip to support DRL. Its an 07. 5 Mega SLT if that helps. Has a few of the Laramie options also.

DRL's are turned on by using the scan tool to change the country code to Canada.

DRLs are turned on by using the scantool... HOWEVER... The correct way is NOT to change the country code. There is a SEPARATE SETTING for DRLs. Search for my post regarding the options available to you via the StarScan tool. It will show you what your options actually are, and even give a guide to give the mostly clueless techs at the dealership a heads up on how to actually set the settings you want.
