Im going into production with one that uses the stock grid and ANY manifold top avail. It is a more advanced design and can handle 200+psi. It can also be optioned with a water/meth or NOS spraybar. No machining necessary, bolt-n-go. Will be avail. in Feb. and is less than half the cost of the wilson.
I will see Wilson in court if they try to do another knock-off!

What exactly are you making (a manifold, plate or)?

Already made. Plate, it replaces factory plate ONLY and comes with high quality re-usable plate/grid gaskets. You can keep the grid or delete and upper plenum you already have. I'm getting dyno time on it now and it is already being run on a 650+HP truck and shows improved spool/cooling and more even EGTs between cylinders. Without any further delays it should be available mid-Feb. ;)

yes I know, I just hate typing ,I have probably read ninety percent of all posts since then ,and at this point I would like to thank every person for every post in that time. I have saved countless hours and lots of dollars (also looked like some kind of a dodge guru) because of this site and TDR mag. Thanks a million everybody. John G PS I am a true cummins lover, I own six vehicles and tractors with this motor currently

I have been running a first gen (92) engine in a 1972 f250 for about a year with no grid heater without a problem . Coldest temp it has seen so far is about 12 deg. so maybe not a good test for those of you in REAL cold climates . I have just engaged my pac brake for a couple of mins. on my 06 with the Wilson intake, seems to work great. John G

Just to reply to the above comments made by DCreed. DCreed and i never spoke until i saw his post on this board and another message board. I had no idea what he was referring to so i did contact him to find out where his comments were coming from. After contacting him we realized there was a misunderstanding which led to him to post his comments. He read that we were working on a heater grid provision and assumed it was something similar to something he had posted on the message boards. We are working on a round heater grid that will be installed at the inlet side (the round side) of the elbow and will not require our current base plate to be modified.
