Over the last few weeks I went from 2 gauges, boost and EGT, to 6... I also made my dual a-pillar a single a-pillar. . The visibility is much better now.

I added Rail Pressure (for fun, I don't mess with pressure), fuel pressure, oil pressure, and drive pressure (mainly for exhaust brake pressure). I also moved my pryo probe to the collector and put the drive pressure in the old pyro hole. .

I have played with the drive pressure a little, but nothing too much. . I will be curious how it runs when towing. . It gets to about 40 and holds with the WG on... over 55 with the WG off and stock fueling.

The Fuel Pressure sender. I "T"ed into the line after the Cat 2 mic and before the CP3.

The new pyro location and DP hookup.

6' of copper tubing to dissipate the DP heat.

Inline filter to keep any soot (in case of an air leak) from getting to the gauge.

Where I tapped into the oil. . On the drivers side above the ECM.

I really like what you've done, but you might wish to rethink the brass fittings in the exhaust manifold... ... . If you get the EGT's up there... . and turn the exhaust manifold red hot... . something you can do on a long pull... get the exhaust pressure up, either with driving the turbo or with an exhaust brake I'd bet a $5. 00 bill that the threads on that brass fitting will melt off and the fitting will pop out... .

Is the 3 gauge cluster the one designed for on top of the dash just inverted and installed on the roof panel??

Definitely a nice job!!! Clean Install too!!

I plan on using the Westach Dual EGT/Boost in the single a pillar mount with handle, and then using Westach Dual Voltmemter/Ammeter, Oil pressure/Oil temp, and transmission temp/Rear Dif temp in the overhead. Westach will also manufatcure a custom Dual Air Pressure gauge, which I may install in the dash cubby (next to my Brakesmart) to monitor air bags when I install them. Of course, I can talk about it all I want, but yours are in and looking GOOD!!

I never even thought about the brass at high temp. . Definatly going to add some steel fittings there!!!

The OH pod is designed for the OH, they make 2,3 and 4 gauge pods. I am really liking the 3 up there.

Couple questions...

... how close does the oil pressure gauge read to the computer generated raedings on the stocker? Q2... does your rail pressure read steady after you been driving for a bit, or will it start reading way high/ low after a bit? TIA!

Thats higher than I thought, it may not be an issue then. . .

Yeah... that's mostly what I think too, by the time you get that hot, your probably gonna have some other more serious issues then blowing a fitting out of your manifold; Also, if it is a brass alloy, it MAY have an even higher melting point. Just to be clear, I am NOT a metallurgist, just got curious and did some research. You can check it out yourself here or here--

Metallurgy: brass, commercial foundry, bronze foundry

The oil psi, when warm, is about 20 at idle and 50 cruising at 1900, and goes up with rpm. . So the stocker may be an average at best...

Not that I gave noticed, but I haven't had it on for long drives yet... Thou I have noticed a couple of times when I shut down its says I am idling at 4K...

Thanks for the info.

nice job. How do you like your scangaugeII? I have been using one for a while. Calibration for mpg is right on.

I really like it... It's odd that your MPG's are right on with the 04. 5 its one of the two years, 05 is the other, where they are not supposed to work. Mine is horribly inaccurate. Its because the OBDII port doesn't get accurate load data at low rpm/low load. It was accurate on my old gas rig, but not on my 05. Thou I use it for other things.

the only way to calibrate is to top off the tank till you fuel at the neck. I think the percentage number on mine is around 150. It's within . 3 gallon on a 34 gallon fill up

Your a lucky one. . Mine is so far off its ridiculous, and inconsistently off. It depends on how much time I spend below 1500 rpms and low load. the SG tells me I am using less fuel at 1500 rpms than I am at 750 (O LOD vs 3-7LOD)

Nice installations. Have you seen the PLX devices ... the one guage hooks into your obdII port and will read all the information that the ecm will put out.

Thats essentially what my SGII does, thou not vehicle specific... . Still won't get accurate load data.
