My HTT 3 piece manifold cracked across the top all the way to the webbing. I had my stocker crack at 150k miles & spent the $400 on the HTT to cure the problem. Now at 170k miles the HTT cracked. I'm confused, stocker lasts 150k miles, HTT lasts 20k miles? Sure doesn't seem to be worth $400. to me. Anyone else had one crack?

I had the same issue with my ATS last year. They were contected by the shop who did the work on my truck and sent me one out for a warranty exchange. Then a week later I was billed FULL retail price for the manifold. Couple the billing and that I again ended up with a manifold that has a very poor finish which has the manifold rusting terribly already and I will NEVER use ATS again.

P. S. -The ATS cracked so bad that the back 3 cylinders fell apart and completely off the center section.

if they dont tell you what you want to hear, the PDI manifolds that i use will cure the issue. i have not had one crack to date, going on 5 years

Interesting I've had my ATS 3-piece for going on 60k now? I would hope they would send you a new one and not bill you like they did Hammer - that stinks.

That's not cool. I have an ATS manifold on the '02 with no issues in over 100k, and an HTT on tjhe '01 in a little over 50k now; but this has me a bit concerned. One would think they would last a little longer than that, even though will all know they all can crack eventually... I will be most unhappy to have to replace one any time soon. #@$%!

Well, I guess I'll have to weld it up until I can get cash to buy a ATS manifold. I can't find my reciept & the company I bought it from closed down. HTT will not warranty it without reciept. This sucks!

You are absolutely right that does suck. You would think that a company like HTT would stand behind their product regardless if you have a receipt from one of their vendors or not. They should stand behind it end of story . . . . I know I would just to make a customer happy. I guess I wont be buying anything from them.

That is disappointing to hear. I have wanted a split manifold for years, but just never got the gumption to do it.

So what are the comparable units? ATS, HTT now PDI and any others?

I have always installed the ATS manifolds. Started using them back when Steve was doing them. (Advanced Turbo Sytems)

I am going to guess that HTT will lose a few sales over this.

The good news is there are more companies out there that build manifolds.

AFE will be hitting the market soon with a Stainless Steel model

I will be calling them back as soon as I get a chance. A reciept just happened to show up today. :D

If you do have to weld it up, don't forget to drill a whole at each end of the crack to prevent the crack from continuing. No offense intended, just sharing info.

Reciept should not matter... . top dollar was paid for a hp upgrade that did not last. My ATS one better not crack!!

I wonder now if they will start questioning how the truck is used and so forth..... you know;to establish a trend of abuse and then use the excuse not to warranty. Makes no sense to upgrade anything when the UPGRADES don't even outlast the stockers!!Frustrating!!

I was really shocked to be honest. I have bought turbos from HTT for quite a few trucks over the years. When I called in about the manifold, guy asked "who is this?" I said "Jamie" He replied "Jamie Lent". Does that tell you how much stuff I've ordered from HTT? I tried returning a 2nd gen compressor housing that was 32 days old, never used. HTT wouldn't trade it for a 3rd gen housing because it was longer than 30 days. I called II & they swapped it out for me free of charge. II also rebuilt one of HTT's turbos for 1/2 price of what HTT quoted me. After them doing this, I am through with dealing with HTT. A man can only get shafted so many times.

Man that is one sweet looking piece of fabra-mic-ation there - really awesome.

I wonder how long it would look that good and how long it would stand up to the heat and weight of a turbo though? Anyone ever used one of them?
