There was a artical in the newest TDR mag about a fellow member who modified his stock air box for winter use so it draws only warm air from the engine compartment,he also has a full winter cover on the front of it.
My question is: cold air is much denser than warm air, why would you not want cold dense air forced into your engine instead of warm air with less density?
A second question: where does the air going into the turbo come from? Is it all exhaust? or is there fresh air also? thanks
