Just put my grill cover on and I likes it. :) Looks good and the heater temps are steadier. Had one on my'94 and it worked great. Never overheated even in warmer temps <50.

Could you show me some pictures of how you put your front splash guards on? I got a '10 Laramie a few weeks ago and need to get some on the front but that lip that's on the fender well is throwing me off.

I can shoot you a couple tomorrow so you can see what I did. I cut out the splash gaurd to fit around the lip. Made a template first and cut carefully second. Used the stock screws and on the inside of the fenderwell where I would not drill into any metal I put one plastic push rivet in each gaurd. Did the same thing for the back without any trimming. Best thing about the whole deal was the local Farm and Fleet store had the gaurds with the Dodge Logo's on them, $31 total for the front and rear.

I am disapointed dodge went to an external cover. I really like how my 05 cover is under the grill.

And holy crap, there are no openings in that thing that are worth anything. I have more surface area with one open on mine, than all 4 on that. And I have to have more than one open just about anytime I drive above 45 mph, even in sub-zero or the IAT's go thru the roof. Even with all 4 open I can't tow with it on... Temps would have to be 10 or 20 below before I would consider towing, they work so well.

Just a thought, but are you sure thats the diesel cover and not a gas one?

COcummins Sorry it took me a couple of days. Shots of the mud flaps. Very easy to do. I noticed Geno's had some with the same Dodge logo plus the Cummins Big "C". Wish I had seen them, especially the larger style for the back.

It was easy. I am wishing I had bigger ones on the front already. I really liked the ones that Geno's garage has and will probably get their rear set and move my rears up to the front. Besides they have the Big "C" on them as well as the Dodge logo. Good Luck, it's easy!

I never had any problems with this style on my 5. 9. Was in Alaska for 12 years and honestly think I could of left it on all year. Have to see how it does loaded down next month.

It just looks like it wont flow anywhere enough air, but being away from the radiator may allow air to be sucked thru the opening below the bumper and over the radiator?

Would pleasae provide me with the part number you got from the dealer. The part number I was given was for the old style cover.

Thank you

Optional winter cover

This is a beautiful set up and that truck is awesome too! For those contemplating a winter front cover for their truck... you might want to check out Eric Bukel's classified add in TDR for heavy duty plastic inserts that fit into grill openings and are bolted in. Easy to set up and remove. I am very happy with mine. I build fast heat now and has never overheated pulling heavy trailers. Not sure he has one to fit the 2010 Rams yet though. Call him or email him and ask. Just an option to consider.

No modifications needed

Did you modify your grill to get the four indents?
Negative on the need for any modification. He makes the inserts to fit the grill exactly. I did not have to adjust anything. There is a diff between the grill openings for 2nd and 3rd Gen's so you need to give that info if you are going to purchase a set. If there was any sizing that would need to be done, it would be easy to just file down a tight spot... but there wasn't any for me.
The only modifications I made were personal preference on my part and that was a move to stainless steel hardware and wing nuts instead of wrench heads for the fastener end... . and also an additional washer on the front side to increase surface area to disperse tension on the plastic in that specific area around the bolt hole. Other than that... it fit right out of the box and I had them on in 20 min tops!:D
