Sure happy to hear you had a long and great trip in your Arctic Fox TT. It appears that your Arctic Fox 25R is a Wide Body, meaning it's 8. 5' wide. Does that extra width bother you any? Towing mirrors still work okay?

Glad you had a good trip. 6400 miles is a good ways and no problems with the trailer. We don't expect to have a problem with our Ram's.

We are on a summer long trip out west and are now in Colo. Springs. We have been getting 11 and 12 miles to the gal. but the other day in N. Texas the wind blew against us the whole day and got 7. 4 MPG. It sure is cooler out here than it is back east.

Grizzly,

What's the rating on Sunny Brook? I found an 8 year old thread here that sounded real good... just wondering if anyhting has changed... .....

I have an 08 Jayco Eagly\e super lite 5th wheel. 30 foot with bunk house. I use it about 8 weekends and one 2 week trip a year. We haven't had any problems with it yet and we love it.

I hadn't seen your post or I would have replied sooner. SunnyBrook made a good 5er and TT. Most are 4 star rated, but a few will dip down to 3 and 2 stars. The last entry I see is a 2004 model, so I wonder if they stopped making them. The manufacture is SunnyBrook. They made 5er and TT from 22' to 36' for Snowbirding use. From 2004 to 2006 they made a SunnyBrook Titan. They also made a SunnyBrook Solanta in 2005 and 2006, which were discontinued in 06. This is all according to my RV Consumer Group guide. No information is given on frame and running gear.

If you you find one, get me the model number and I'll look it up for you.

2010 Sunnybrook Harmony 21FBS. It has some white trim in it my wife doesn't like...

Also, looking at Jayco Jay Flight 22FB we like this one...

George,

Yes sir, I have seen that on their website. Being a full timer for the past ten years I am looking to find something a little more suited to my changing needs and wants. When I purchased my current coach money was a big consideration and contrary to ratings and opinions my Cardinal has served me well, I have no complaints. I am now in the position to find a unit with a more home like feel and Mobile Suites, Hitchhiker and Excel are the three I have been considering.

I know the Suites are heavy but, I am finding very well equipped units in the high 50's to low 60's. I am by no means in a hurry and plan to do my homework on all three manufacturers and plan on making a decision early next year.

I have had no trouble towing my 36 ft Mobile Suite with first my 2004 dooly and now my 2008 dooly. We go up some 6 and 7 percent grades in Colorado and we are here now. My trailer weight loaded is 15,730 and my six speed with 3. 73 gears does a great job even though I am a little over weight. I see a lot of over weight rigs out there and a lot more over weight than I am. I am approx. 800 to 1000 lbs. over. Just met a man in the campground with a 97 dodge dooly with 300,000 miles ,TDR plate, pulling the same trailer that I have. I sure love my Ram. I guess it's not a Dodge anymore as I can't find Dodge on it anywhere.

If I were to go with Mobile Suites I would ditch the current 3. 55's and go with the 3. 73 gears. I can get it swapped out for $1000.

Jayco's a good trailer. The closest I can find to mod #22FB is a 2005 TT, mod #22FSB, which is 3 star rated. Most Jay Flight are 3 star rated.

3. 73 gears would certainly be better than 3. 55. Better yet would be 4. 10 gears.

It should be very easy to determine what the trailer will cost you optioned as you want it. The trailer price is listed and so are all the options with prices.

You could also email Ed Cox or Orville, both longtime NuWa sales reps, and ask them to price one with the options you list. sales@nuwa.com IIRC.

NuWa is the most professional, helpful, and courteous company I have ever dealt with from top to bottom. Great service department also with prices and service better than any dealer anywhere.

The Santa Fe park RV park is in the Chanute city park right down the street from NuWa. Spaces are free for two nights, $10 after that. Ed Cox is on the city council!

Hey Grizzly George Does your ratings book list Canadian made units ? Like Travelaire Kustom Koach, Glendale Trilium, General Coach or Triple E. Some Americans like to buy "Made in USA" and some Canadians like to buy "Made in Canada"
