i forgot the tugboat in front of that lol... . he might be peeping out down there on Floyd hehehe... . btw anyone know the size of those rear brake lines 3/16 or something, of course you can't get them loose so im going to try and get the fittings out with vise grips, the little block on the driver side axle is something, you have no clearance for a line wrench of course it doesn't matter they are seized anyways... all is good replacing them anyways.

I gather every new part that you could possibly hope to need as I generally perform most of my work on the weekends, after hours. The lines as I recall are the 3/16" and that vent tube/ line block is best removed. Removal of the line fitting generally is no problem with a torch and I seldom reuse the lines.

just got back from town, had a neighbor go with me as im not at this time to drive without having someone with me on further trips. Got the lines off fairly easy, that block i have to say is a pain when trying to break the old fittings loose but with vise grips as they were frozen and line wrench only took the shoulders off but i had planned on replacing anyways since i can't really see the line and there maybe corrosion i can't see(don't want a blow out while towing) so with that said Operation "put it back together" LOL will commence, picked up 2 xtra tubes of RTV black in case since im going to change out rearend and front gear oils, the master cylinder was nothing other than the nuts being a little stubborn but hey what can you expect from something that has near 300,000 or over on it, right. Btw i am taking pictures of each side as i progress.
Wish me luck, "oh great Cummins God look down on me this day and smile"
And when im done im going to try something new, going to RTV or silicone the fittings and bleeder screws and see if that will stop the freezing potential on the lines and screw heads, i figure the only enemy would be heat and that from the wheel cylinder/backing plate area. And she is getting 3" pads

And that was why high temp silicone and high temp RTV was invented. ;)

Wyatt, here is my plea to the diesel gods for your continued success and health. :)

I think I just peed myself from laughing so hard! :-laf

The only thing I have seen Tugger work on is an ice cream cone.

If not then, for sure now! :p:-laf

Ice Cream Cones

I don't really work on them, but they sure work on me!

Philip, I'm doing good. Been playing Grandpappy for almost 2 years now. She's getting very fast... or am I getting slower. We take a nap as soon as Mom or Dad come to pick her up.

I've spent the last week cleaning house for Scott's visit. Sandy wants him to think it's clean ALL the time! She's been working me like Aunt Bea did Otis that time the jail was closed and Andy put him up at his house.

i sure know how to resurrect a pot don't I, and to think all i was doing was fix'n my brakes LOL... . I second the sticky!!!! I love that, i got a friend who will love it.

The pics and so for the brake job will be under the post : '92 update with new arrival so as soon as i can and i almost got one side new pads on i will take more pics and post, actually my brakes and the components were not that bad actually, just drivers side pad was gone completely and 1/3 left at best on the pass. side.
I was wondering will it do any good to try and put the Emergency Brake back together, both sides are undone and no clips to be found... I would love to have working Emerg. brakes... .
