I've had good luck with Precision.
I use greaseable here in New England with snow, salt & slush.
Before I install them I run a wire thru the cross to make sure it is completely drilled thru, saw 1 that was not.
I have owned a 1990 CTD 4x4 since new and get many years out of them if greased regularly.
The advantage to the first gen is the locking hub which allows you to rotate the joint to find the grease fitting.
The newer trucks need to be rolled to line up the grease fitting which I suspect is why many seldom grease or not at all.
If you choose non greasable joints fill the caps with quality grease so that it squishes out when pressed together.
