fellas the chrome package is the side moulding, tip and steps. no fuel door. i was looking at the window sticker and it says my truck is a mega cab, what a typo. it's a deep water blue two tone crew cab drw, laramie, with every option i could check.

tell me about it. when i picked it up i was in a hurry, and they told me there where "fitting" the wheels, i just laughed. so much for some really cool wheels, hup caps are back

i know i know, problem is i'm at the folks house and unable to upload, i send some with my phone if you want.
The secret brotherhood of the Deep Water Blue Pearlcoat Laramie Dually club... ;):D

No secret... I just sent him a PM with my cell number and he text a few pics with his phone... :D

OK, I guess I'll have to wait and see just how bad the wheel situation is. Hubcaps? Like maybe spinners off a 50s Oldsmobile, baby moons, or ?????

The dealer just e-mailed to say my truck has been released by the factory with an anticipated arrival date of September 15th. As always, we'll see.....

That's good news Rusty!

Wheels... . The ones on dodgesst's truck "look" the same as they have on the previous gen Laramie duallys. The only difference I can tell is the instead of a steel wheel with a chromed metal simulator or "hub cap", these are aluminum wheels with a chromed plastic simulator or " hub cap". This was not what was described to me by my salesman. He said the 2011's were going to have "all new chrome plated aluminum wheels". The other unclear thing I've seen is, I found a 2010 on the dealer lot with the same aluminum/plastic wheels like dodgesst's... ...

I don't know what to make of it... .

On another note, went by my linex guy and had ordered a b&w flip over. Thinking do it all in one shot. Line x guy asked b&w about, they said hold off as they haven't installed one on a 11 yet to see if all is the same as a 10. Bummer

Hope they hurry up and figure out that nothing changed structurally from 2010 as I have to get a B&W turnoverball gooseneck hitch installed in mine ASAP so I can use my existing B&W companion 5th wheel hitch for an RV trip in October. Heck, I'll just tell the hitch installer that it's a 2010!!

I already ordered my B&W and it's sitting in my garage waiting for the truck. I called them before ordering and they said "order for the '10, it will be the same". That's what I did so I hope it's right! The part number for our trucks has been the same since '03. I'd be very surprised if it wasn't right...

Sure would be nice if you could cut the 4" hole in the bed and then do the Line-x before installing the hitch. That way the cut is sealed up...

Cummz, good point, but I didn't take the pics. Dodgesst did. That's his truck and he sent me the photos. I just posted them for him. :D
