you never know it may be left over 10 stuff because it's such a early 11
I was thinking that too and what a bunch of BS that would be if it's the case!... You'd think they'd have stated "late availability" on the order form or something... .

Just got a return call from my guy and he said my truck hasn't shipped yet, but is now scheduled for 9/2. Arrival date of 9/20..... That would be good, cuz I've got a trip planned for a week at the beach starting 10/3. I need time to put the hitch in and get the 1st 500 miles done so I can pull my goose neck down with the Jeep loaded up... .

Hey guys, I found a pic of the wheels I thought would come on our Laramie DRW trucks. I knew I had seen it somewhere and I figured out where. It was on the Commercial Truck site and under 2011 wheels and tires. Ram — All-New 2011 Ram Chassis Cabs — Functional Design — Wheels & Tires

You have to scroll to the right to pic #6 and it shows 17" Polished Aluminum. These come standard on the 2011 3500 CC Laramie's (a 19. 5 version on 4500/5500) and are an option for the SLT. If they come on the 2011 CC shouldn't we have the same nice wheel on our 3500 pickups? I mean come on... Why should the SRW guys always get nice looking wheels. Right now my feeling are, one way or another I'm not settling for the same old crap hub caps I had on my previous trucks. I was promised nice wheels and I'm going to have them. Even if I have to eat my deposit and they can keep the fully loaded truck!

Maybe I'm getting all worked up over nothing, but if dodgesst truck came with the same ol wheel, I'm pretty sure mine will have it too. But... we'll see for sure when it comes in!

Sorry for the rant... . :{

edit. . here's a pic of the wheel on a truck. You've probably seen it before. .

On the hitch thing. They had ordered one for the 10. The instructions showed a bolt hole on the drivers side that's not on my truck. Again I didn't look at the paperwork which I should have. But you would think the guy who I talk to, who has installed two other hitches for me, 04 and 07 would have a clue. There was also a wiring Bundle that wasn't covered. He called b&w themselves and they said hold off. As far as the photo it was from my phone. I was at my folks house and unable to upload good ones.

does not show tire pressures anywhere, i dont know what what will happen if one goes low, if it will show a light. i haven't opened the the owners CD yet

It sounds like there's some real confusion regarding this hitch issue. I e-mailed B&W this morning regarding a turnoverball gooseneck for my 2011 3500 dually crew cab long bed that's due on September 15th and received the following reply:

As of right now we believe the 1310 will work for you although we have not tested enough to make sure. We plan to keep checking out trucks in the area that land and make sure there have not been any changes that we are unaware of. I would check back again when your truck gets closer to landing.

thats what my installer said. they don't know yet. i told him they(B&W) could use mine for a test truck. they told him not to install until they where sure about the fit on the 11. you would think they would find one of the first ones to test fit, hopefully soon

I got the call today, my truck is in. It took right at two months since we ordered it. We will go get it next monday. The B&W hitch is supposed to be installed at the dealer, hope there is not an issue with it. I will post pictures when i get them.

Rusty, I was going to call them again today about all this, but guess I'll wait another week... Man I hope the hitch sitn' in my garage will fit without problems!

Stick, can't wait to see some pics and also hear if your hitch goes in without a problem.

Dodgesst, looking good!

Pics

Here's a pic of my truck. The salesman took it with his cell phone. I get it monday. Notice there is no body side moldings like dodgesst truck, it must have something to do with when the truck was ordered, because he got the chrome option, and i didn't.

That monster looks good. I wonder if you have the bright tip also. If not then maybe just the steps. I bet the weekend is going stupid slow for you. Mine did

Stick... .

You have good taste. Thats exactly the color combo id have gone with. Love white, and Tan. Is the interior tan leather?

Well, I picked up the new truck Saturday evening. This week will be spent getting the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch installed, getting the 7-pin plug in the bed, installing the toolbox in the bed, etc.

One big change I noted was the double overdrive gear ratios on the 68RFE versus the single overdrive (6th) on the NV5600 in our 2002 - 1600 RPM at 60 MPH is quite a difference from 2000 RPM at 60 MPH, although it remains to be seen how that's going to work out for towing our 5th wheel RV.
