Remembered the lead-lined comfort innersoles this time?
It sure is exhilarating driving at that speed. I went up and across San Augustine Pass (Las Cruces) at 110 once (there was a motorcycle right behind me on that run), and maxed out at 141 down the White Sands side. The well-space power poles looked like telephone poles on a city street. When the few cars got to be closer than 1/4 mile apart, they were too thick and I slowed down to a more reasonable speed. I could make the Las Cruces-Cloudcroft-Hobbs(NM) run in, I think, 2:20, which included having somewhat limited speed through the mountains, slowing down to the speed limit in each of the little towns along the way, and a fuel stop; the Formula 350 had a tiny fuel tank. Cruise control at 115 sure made the driving easy.
Nice to see they still know how to build fun cars.
