Whats different?

No, the emissions system are NOT the same.

We both have 08 3500, mine is a pick up and yours a C&C, both white too. Mine is manual and yours auto. Mine has cat, nox, DPF and EGR to control emissions, what does yours have (or not)? Very interested. I know on the 10 and up C&C they use the urea injection also.

Don't drive until the Smarty ME software is installed to turn off the regen cycle otherwise you will have white smoke or even flames coming out the tailpipe.

10-4, truck not moving till its completely done. Smarty should be in today so hopefully I'll have full report this afternoon. Btw... ... . reading the post about all the sensors on DPF, I saw most trucks had 3... ..... mine has 5! two was tubing type and 3 are probe type. Ive also read some people say unplug them, leave them pluged, put ohm fuse in them, etc etc. So not sure what to do there, I was going to leave them plugged and just zip tie everything up against frame... ???

Ok..... just hooked up Smarty to my truck. Cleared codes and kept it on factory setting for now. Went for a ride all seems fine. Does have a deeper sound ofcoarse from the DPF gone, but actually I like it..... sounds like a truck now,



So... ... . so far so good, had DPF delete kit and smarty for about an hour now and have had no problems! Lol! Will keep posted.

My son just put an H&S dpf delete kit on his '11 2500 and it works great. No codes, truck has more power and musch better MPG. (from 15- mpg up to 19+ mpg first time out)
