Got in the truck this AM and went to Stanley Idaho is was 0 dark thirty when I left and couldnt see if truck was smoking at that time. We stoped in Salmon Id to get fuel (its cheaper in ID than in MT) added the same amount of snake oil to the fuel and went on my way. Got on the Freeway real hard as to not make a big truck driver angry#@$%!. I always look back to see if im setting up a smoke screen and still none. Got to Stanley and made a fuel transfer from the AUX tank to the Trk tank. Picked up the tack for my new mule's and went to lunch. So now the truck is running on ID fuel and got back on the big road and got on the throttle and man it looked like I was working for the Vector control folks. All the instruments read the same pyro/trans/boost/fuel press before and after the filters/rear diff truck ran VERY GOOD to good. I stoped and took a fuel sample out the Aux tank and tested it for Gas( a gift from the Chemist and Chevron before I left. NONE. I dont have or havent had the Cat on for at least 2 years. Any Idea's of why the smoke? took a Oil sample and sent it off. But the truck runs great.
