HI ,

I have just stopped at a service station and stopped my brand new 2011 ram with 600 miles on it ,and it will not start again, it will turn over but not start

If you have access to pliers, try taking off both negative terminals for 2-3 minutes, then put them back on. . This may reset the computer.

sounds like an angry trip to the dealer afterwards. .

good luck

Cycle the key fob through the lock / unlock several times. Make sure the truck corresponds to the key fob. If the panic button has been pressed accidentally or otherwise, this is an anti theft feature. Been there done that.

There is a tsb for intermittant no start condition. 08-024-11. IRRC it is just a quick flash of the wcm=Dealer only ;)

I guess you are long gone home or to the dealer by now. The 99 I had did something similar when I was on the way home after picking it up new. I got in, locked the doors with the fob then inserted the key to start. The horn started blasting, lights flashing and it wouldn't start. Silenced the alrm, opened the door and started over, no problem. Later on sometime the alarm would go off if I opened the passenger side door with a key. bg

Hope you haven't been without your vehicle since September. Electronics... crank position sensor damaged to the point it still ran until shut off, then would not re-start, but no codes...

Glad you have it repaired!
