gear indicator disappeared

I started my truck earlier and my gear shift indicator that tell you f you are in park reverse neutral etc was gone. The only thing id done between the time it was there and gone was change the sw# on my Smarty. The odometer and trip meter still works. Anyone have any olideas or ever heard of this. Also, my reverse camera doesn't automatically cone on now which would indicate to me that the head unit doesn't realize its in reverse. Truck still drives and works every gear normally tho.

You have turned on the "shift defuel" in the Smarty options. That is what happens, the indicator disappears, change the "shift defuel" back to stock and it will re-appear. Just remember, you have to reload the switch before the change in options will take affect.
