just put in my scan gauge 2 and it is a cool little thing for monitoring several things..... my main things were water temp and voltage... but has many others that you can do... . anyone else running it too... . Oo.
I have never seen results like that with the Load. But I wonder if the 04 reports differently? My load seems to be as accurate no matter what SW I have tuned.
If it's calulated engine load on the 04 (not FCA position like I am told 05 is) then it makes sense that it's lower, but I am not sure 50% is what you should see. If it takes 50 hp to do 55 mph then thats 15% load on the stock SW and 11% load on SW3. . just an easy comparison as there are many variables in load.
Go to ScanGauge - Trip Computer + Digitial Gauges + ScanTools and go to the x-gauge function for rail pressure. . It may or may not work on your 04.
Position of fca?? It is pwm...
some of the abbreviations i dont understand... and not listed in the book... the ones that are like 2-3 letters long... . example intake air = IR... . is there a list of these abbreviatons anywere?
I was told that the ECM reports FCA commanded position as load thru the OBDII, which makes sense as in stock form it won't go over 94%, but as I increase power on the SJR SW2 will go to about 97% and SW3 to 99%.
There is no sensor, but based on the PWM commanded position the ECM can state where it should be in related to min and max.
Intake air in mine is °fIA. Your manual (or one online) should have all the abbreviations.
