I just got mine and have yet to install them and wondering if anyone else has. The instructions are brief and seem straight forward. However, I am wondering why there are two cast links per box ? I was told I needed to kits for a total of four sway bar end links. Seems to me, I only need one kit with two links. Am I wrong ?

Haven't used the new links but it doesn't really matter.

There is only 1 link on each side, total of 2.

Seems to me that either they screwed up the packaging and put 2 in yours instead of 1 or someone doesn't know that there are 2 in a box.

I think you are correct Bob. Well, I guess I have two options: 1- sell or keep or 2- call and send back. $99. 00 for the 2 sets is what I paid. Ram 3500 does not have a rear sway.

I installed mine last night and will post pictures. Pressing in the rubber bushings can be done with a vise; however, using my press was a lot easier. Installing the rubber bushing into the U shaped bracket does take some patience, lube and a should be done before installing on the vehicle. Attaching the top part of links to the sway bar on both sides and then attaching both bottoms will give you best results. Tighten upper rubber bushings so that they squeeze to just the outer edge of the washers. The bolts that go through the lower two bushings say to torque to 110 lbs and this takes it down to the inner steel bushings. After torquing to the 110 lbs make sure the link is still somewhat straight or correct angle. The joints do seem quite tight and it will be a while before I use it to tow and then I will see if it helps the suspension sway or ride. Time will tell if BD did their homework on the BUSHINGS FITTING TIGHT, if not maybe we can get the upgrade when it comes out. :-laf

Danged those things are beefy! They look like they're a bit longer than the stock parts, are they for stock ride height or a lift?

I put those on my truck last weekend, a week before my torque converter heat exchanger took the big CRAP.

Stock Height and yes they are longer than stock. I installed the Maxx Link brand on a friend of mine and they were also longer than stock. Moves the sway bar up same on both sides so it does not change anything.

Now its time for shocks, probably go with the Bilsteins unless someone can talk me out of them.

I put the Maxx Links on my 2006 and really like them - ordered through Thoroughbred Diesel. Call Larry at Suspension Maxx @ 1-888-629-9226 for fitment on 05-06 trucks. My 2006 SLT Crew Cab has the front axle listed for the Megacab, so the first set of links didn't fit. Larry sent out the right ones overnight. Good guy! Extremely helpful.

How are the BD's sway bar links working? Ordering a set for my truck tonight. I installed Tuff Country sway bar end links 3 years ago. Found one today on the right side sheard right in half at the bottom mount. Most 4 wheeling I do is getting the trailer out of the pasture when it's wet and can't for the life of me remember hitting anything hard enough to make one shear like that.
