I dynoed an 05 with edge juice and other airflow mods approx 50lbft gain below 2k and a bone stock 06 gained about 17lbft torque. These were both AFE intakes

I posted the dyno sheets back when the intakes were first released.

A lil birdie may have said there will be more new product coming... ... ...

Towing is where the manifolds shine as far as I am concerned. I like to tow below 2krpm. Better economy and less noise-if your combination is correct.

I do not like the Banks version, too hard to get the studs to seal completely and a high risk of cracking where the studs go through the casting.

with all due respect AH I would like to see it on paper has anyone actually put on a Dyno specifically for testing these intakes... Not being sarcastic so please no flaming

There have been a few tests, thou I don't recall the magazine or website that did them. IIRC GDP has one on their site too.

I'm going to go with the Pusher Intake Horn in the near future.

Black powder coated steel for $184 shipped. Can be used with or without grid heater, dipstick mount, two 1/8 inch NPT ports on the back with plugs to block them off if wanted and a factory Cummins gasket.

How do you deal with cold temperature starting without the grid heater? A shot of Ether/starting fluid? Curious? GregH

I haven't had heater grids in the 94 for many years no issues starting in Utah

Snow and of course our local mountains... . I would guess down to 0 degrees

I still have my grids, but with the fully adjustable timing of the CR the programming makes for very easy starting even in sub zero temps. Fuel is injected ATDC during starting which allows the grids to be removed and still provide good starting.

I will be doing a seasonal grid delete this summer, as I only tow in the summer and don't need the grids removed 6 months of the year and don't want to worry about starting, even thou I haven't heard of any issues on deleted trucks.

PD, just bustin yer chops! I also have the high dollar Dipricol gauges... their backlighting is awful, in fact the light in my rail pressure gauge will not work at all#@$%!.

To do over I'd go with Isspro.

Actually, my gauge has been acting up too. The boost will just stop working and I can hear an odd noise in it - 30 minutes later it's working again. If it pukes I'll probably get the 3 gauge cubby-hole mount and replace my pillar with a normal one. I really want to get some meters that match the existing ones better but it seems like there's a lot of problems with them!

Just remember about the heater grids, you have to have them working in order not to trip a check engine code. I just went through this getting a smog check in CA, one of my heater grids were not working.

Have you done this yet and if so any performance improvement? I know you have lotsa gages and can back up your testing.

My oldest son ('06 standard transmission w/lotsa power) installed a Banks intake elbow with the larger intercooler outlet pipe and says it helped his boost 5 psi. I scoffed at him and he swears and be damned that it did.

Also have you ever tested the before and after intercooler boost numbers. I know it varies based on intercooler and boost numbers but any first hand testing on this?

Here's my DTT horn when first installed. As I mentioned earlier, the thick flange that bolts to the engine is now brown rust.

Yo Hoot, the BD really looks like the best flowing. But the rust thing is a deal breaker for me. Can you post a pic of how rusty it is now?

I am now running a GDP air boss with a grid heater. I didn't see a huge change on top, maybe a few degrees and a hair more boost. It does seem to help mid range spool some.

I have never seen boost numbers for pre intercooler, i know its very effecient at dropping intake temp thou.
