I agree with MAshley. Airbags are a waste of time and money, especially on a 3500 dually. Your trailer's not that heavy to warrant airbags anyway.

My 3500 DRW does fine without airbags.

Good Grizz... Did you notice that I have a Kore Chase that has minipaks and no overload?

To each his own.

IMO you went with the absolute best hitch available, it is freaking fabulous in every aspect. You get a perfectly clean bed when the hitch isn't installed, it is easy to set up, it is easy to install and remove and it's almost idiot proof when hooking up and properly hitched. If the pin won't go in the release handle, then you are not hooked up properly.

I'm confuzzled with a couple of the replies about the scale house and DOT officers though!?!? I have never once stopped at a scale house, I just drive on by.

I also think very highly of the Super 5th Wheel PullRit. click here

When you remove the hitch and rails, you also have a clean bed with four small holes.

You got that right Chief! Had the thing out in less than 5 minutes tonight.

Hey Griz. I installed airbags on my truck a couple of years ago as they help leveling the rear of the truck. My fiver is nose heavy as I have a 6500W genny in the front compartment. the bags also help with the heavy loads of landscaping materials I have been hauling lately for the house.

Glad to hear you're still doing well.

The DOT in Ontario on occasion do spot checks and can and do lay charges from big to small on non commercial truck/trailer combos.
