Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) ABS & Brake light illuminated

Just happened after I pick it up from the body shop

I don't know if the 94 is the same as my 98, but the rear wheel speed sensor was the culprit in my case. It is located on the top of the rear differential. Do a search for this problem in the forums. I posted a similar question and someone responded with the technical info needed to test it. Good luck!

No Damage. In for new rocker panels and repair rust on the door bottoms.

After I put the GM wheel cylinders on it did it also. Touched the brake pedal and they went out.

There is a vacuum sensor on the driver side fender. This looks new. I believe they broke it somehow. It is brand new.

It is a low vaccum switch,it will turn the abs light on when the vacuum falls below what is safe.

Bob if It were defective, would it cause the ABS & BRAKE light to illuminate?

I found it...

The tech forgot to plug the connector back into the RWAL. Plugged it in disconnected the batteries. All is fine.
