Crude keeps doing down, but diesel keeps rising, at least here in Washington State. Most places $4. 40-4. 50 and higher now

Anyone seeing prices drop yet

Wow. . . didn't realize it had dropped down that much in other areas.

guldam I drove through San Fran last week, filled up for $4. 29 near Vallejo. It was a beautiful day for a drive across the Golden Gate!

Diesel has dropped 5 cents in Albuquerque and the crude is going down steadily.

Let's not forget, this is a holiday weekend and fuel prices always stay up during a holiday weekend.

I think diesel was $4. 32 at the Arco here in Bothell yesterday. Keep in mind, that is probably the cheapest diesel in my neck of the woods. Gas at that station was, I believe, $4. 28 for cash.

I heard today that the cherry point refinery is back on line. But that refinery being down doesn't explain the huge run up here.

We dropped down to $3. 95 while traveling through Fallon, NV and I understand it is almost that low in Sparks where we're heading next. Di

Yep, just like It's his fault for everything else that has gone wrong, including the potholes in the road, and the reason I am stiff and sore in the morning (of course it has nothing to do with my age: it's Bush's fault). The oil companies and the oil speculators had nothing to do with it, right? Can I blame him for my Psoriasis, too?

On that note, I am going back out and try putting the rear axle back in my truck. Hey! You don't suppose I can blame him for my rear axle going bad, do you?

Anyway, have a great day and I sincerely hope the prices there drop real soon.

Hey Regcabguy I am not going to respond because earlier I broken one of my own rules to not get involved in anything political on TDR. we can go back and forth with facts and figures till the cows come home, but the only thing we'll get out of it at the end of the day is cow pie. I just got upset when I wanted to post showing that for the first time in months diesel is lower than gasoline. and someone has to make a political statement that has no relevance or spirit to the thread.

TDR is a place I go to for enjoyment and knowledge. I do not want to argue or play pecking order with any of its members.

The next time I'm in San Diego I hope we bump into each other and both have the time to sit down and have some coffee together. I always end up at Mary's donuts on Finita in Santee.
